Kerang the Great
K-rang the Great (Shinasthana: 大庚, lats-k-rang; d. c. 302 BCE) was a ruler of the city of Tsinh in the Early Archaic Period. He is venerated as the last member of the eighth sacramental generation in later practice. He began at least 14 sacramental cycles and is therefore credited with at least 10 regnal years. Like most other early Themiclesian rulers, his personal name is unknown. The paired ancestress in the canon of rulers is the the Younger Spirit Companion Sin, and her personal known and title are also unknown.
K-rang the Great is the first ruler of Tsinh for whom oracular dates are seen in the Springs and Autumns of Six States, and such records begin somewhat arbitrarily at the commencement of his 14th sacramental cycle.
He is preceded by Qrut the Heir and followed by Qrut IV.
Name
The monicker which goes with his Count Name is lats, meaning "great, tall, long, big, wide". In Themiclesian naming custom, the term probably has nothing to do with his achievements but is a comment about his physical size.
