In the Heldervinian City-states, the Katherinican Era was the reign of Katherine III, from 1663 until her death in 1767. The era was preceded by the Steinian Era and succeeded by the Vogternastian Era.
Various political reforms took place during the Katherinican Era, including expanding the number of autocratic city-states. Katherine, a leader of a major fashionable elite, popularized picture hats.
