History
Pre-Settlement Era
The nomadic tribes of the ancient Katze people originate from somewhere south of it's modern counterpart. And evidence of their existence dates back to several hunderds of years before their evantual arrival to the area which is now considered Katzdale. The handful of years before their arrival to the ruined city that they would then call their homeland were racked with, disease, droughts and severe winters. A year before their evantual arrival they held a tribal meeting to decide what would come. One stood, the tribespeople referred to that man as a madman or heathen, he would always pray in front of campfires, preach to those who would listen about how he dreamt of a messenger of god, an angel, giving him a lantern and saying to preach his beliefs to the world, he then spoke about a prophecy of smoke leading to new, prosperous lands. The tent went silent, the man then simply left lit a campfire and watched as where the smoke was headed, and started walking, a few hundred following behind. After a few days of walking they arrived at an abandoned, coastal city.
