The Kazarakhai Khaganate was a country that occupied the historical Kazara region in northern Shirvaniya along the Sundering Sea from its formation following the collapse of the Adamdar Empire in 1754 until it was officially unified with Cacerta in 1870, although it continued to exist as a member-state of the Cacertian Empire under the same name. The Khaganate was devastated during the Shirvani-Kazarakhai War following the signing of the Peace of Imishli and was officially dissolved as a political entity by the Shirvani Dominion in 1929. Despite the Kazarakhai region being the original homeland of the Kazarakhai people, most Kazars live in exile as a result of the Kazarakhai genocide.
