Kindinu-Muhammad šak Ahmadri Šušan (Arabic: كِندِينٌمُحمّد اِبْن أَحْمَد الشوشانِيّ Kindinu-Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Šušaniyy) is the current ruler of Elam. He was confirmed by the Majlis on 27 October 2010 after the death of his father and predecessor, Ahmad. Kindinu-Muhammad is the first Emir of Elam to speak the Elamite language as his native and primary language, rather than Arabic, as well as the first to have a traditional Elamite name, Kindinu. He has been lauded by international organisations for his humanitarian work and for his (at times unpopular) defenses of human rights and freedom of the press within Elam.
