Korelo Script

Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Korelo Script (Korelo Script: ᝑᝅᝏᝏᝅ) is one of the two major scripts of the Kapukan Language, with the Kina Script. The writing system was created from scratch by Po Kuhina in 1947 to replace the existing Kina Script. This was done because the Kina Script had heavy Zhenian influence, which went against the ideals of the recent Kalist Coup. The script was only adopted by Kapukan government officials and high class citizens, with the Kina Script remaining the most used script in Kapuku. The script lost use in the 1960s and 1970s with more intregation of Zhenian groups and peoples inside of Kapuku.
