Kotinezomerine, C.O.T Corporation, COT, or COTCORP is the term used to refer to the landed holdings of Central Oil Trading Corporation, recognised by most nations as a sovereign entity. The majority of Kotinezomerine lies in central Stratea, hence the given name Central Oil Trading, though it also holds the islands Atanika and Reysti, as well as the Abos holding of Dokzomerine. COT shares a land border with XXX to the YYY, as well as maritime borders with ZZZ. Due to the inhospitality of the environment, COT has an urban population of 91%, one of the largest scaled urban populations in the world. The vast majority of the aforementioned urban population is located in several geographically close cities: the largest city Ontrilix, the Nosramine cultural centre of Rime, and the capital Kolaron. Desert settlements, however, are not unheard of, with the sprawling ancient city of Arzen sitting in the middle of the sweltering Grystin planes.

INSERT HISTORY

Kotinezomerine is, described by Article 1 of the translated Anoviya Transfer, a "corporation-governed unitary parliamentary state". The nation is divided into eight mainland provinces, FFF free cities, three overseas territories, and one corporate zone. The National Parliament of Kotinezomerine is a bicameral legislature subservient to the Board of Directors, divided into two houses, upper and lower. The upper house consists of officials appointed by the Board of Directors. The lower house, on the other hand, consists of the democratically elected Provincial Governors and their fellow Beyoanoviyainiro.

Despite being controlled almost entirely by a single corporation, Kotinezomerine employs progressive and efficient economic policies, though the actual reality of workplace living is contested by ex-employees, who cite a traditionally Anovian cutthroat business environment. COT does, however, place well in standard socioeconomic measurements, being XXX in the world for Human Development Index, and having the YYYth largest economy in Manala.
