Krais is a large planet which is orbiting a Class-K8 Main Sequence Star. The planet has two moons, Concorda, and Rente. One moon, Concorda, has an atmosphere which is breathable to humanity. Krais itself is classified as a Superhabitable Planet due to the mass of the planet, as well as the dense ocean basins, which promote extensive life and conditions which are ideal for human development. Krais was first discovered using Direct Imaging by the Federated Suns Quickscell Company on the 14th of January, 2761. The planet for long remained untouched, as the company went elsewhere, however rights to the system were sold to the Federated Suns sometime in 2767, granting them the right to the planet, which they were quick to capitalize on, hoping to expand their grasp within the Southern Inner Periphery.

The planet was colonized by the Federated Suns in 2799, following a period of expansion outlined by the nation. A small agricultural colony was established on the continent of Ardeal, the new city being named Nouă Florești by the settlers, whom consisted of mostly people of Romanian descent. The colony rapidly developed, expanding throughout the large continent. Within a few years over one million people had been born on the planet, and nearly 1/4th of those were born on the planet naturally. A celebration would be organized for this momentous occasion, and the celebration would be named the Celebration of Life, and is still practiced today.
