Krong Sivuk is a city in the Preimeai Special District South West of Tikrongmeas.

History

as Krong Davuth

The exact founding of the city is unclear but its earliest records refer to it as Krong Davuth during the 12th century as a small fishing and trading village making the majority of its income from trade with the Aschari. The Town started becoming relevant due to its prime position close to the capital and its strategic fort. Its importance, however, took off when it was declared the Nokor's Trade city and all foreigners entering Prei Meas from "beyond the sea" must do business there and politics there. Soon it became a hub of many different nationalities and various intrigue. It was renamed to Krong Sivuk in honor of the Sivuk particularly Neuew people increasingly active there by royal decree of Ste chBanbamphlu VII.
