History
Kvass used to be a part of Russia, until December 9th, 2018, when passionate patriots within Kvass declared it an independent state. This declaration of independence was met with significant backlash from the Russian Federation as Russia viewed this act as an act of treason. The leaders of Kvass, however, held firm and continued to travel down the path of self-determination.
For the next few years, a civil war between opposing forces inside of Kvass waged on. Those who pledged allegiance to the nation of Kvass pushed hard to separate Kvass from Russia, seeing self autonomy as key to long-term survival. Meanwhile, those fighting for Russia wanted Kvass to remain under the Moscow’s guiding hand. This internal conflict was long and bloody, pitting family members and friends against each other as both sides refused to back down.
Finally, in September 16th, 2023, a declaration of constitution was announced stating Kvass' independence from the Russian Federation. The lengthy, passionate effort of the patriots from Kvass had finally paid off and Kvass could become an independent nation with a constitution of its own. This document served as a framework for Kvass’ soon-to-come government, outlining the rights of citizens and how the nation would be governed.
From then on, Kvass had officially become an independent state limited only by its own strength and resilience. As the nation moved forward, the people of Kvass remembered the long, hard battle and used their newfound freedom to build a government and a society that could last for generations. Kvass’ independence had been a long time in the making, and it what they fought so hard for.
