The Kyotakavian Freedom Movement was a political movement that operated the Federal State of Kyotakavia which promoted and agitated for a democratic revolution to overthrow the Svozgardan protectorate which directed Kyotakavia from across its borders. The movement was politically centrist, with its roots being predominantly in middle class communities where the expansion of voting rights in 1820 had been particularly important in instilling national consciousness. It eventually merged and reconstituted itself into the Democratic Alliance Party of Kyotakavia following its sole participation in the 1860 Kyotakavian general election, representing a nationalist driven democratic party in a break from the more soft nationalism espoused by the Populists' and Workers' Party which advocated for more reform minded political agitation rather than immediate breaks.
