Langlois Océanic (known in Frankish as Océanic CF) is a football club based in Langlois playing in the Kelssek Football League Championship. Founded 29 years before Kelssek confederation, it claims to be the oldest professional football team in the country (although this is inevitably a matter of some debate). Océanic pioneered a fluid tactical style that was highly influential in the sport's evolution in the country, leading to an emphasis on players with versatility and a range of skills rather than specialization.

The club's home matches are played at Stade des Pacifiques, one of the most scenic stadiums in Kelssek nestled in the hills to the northwest of Langlois city centre. Its crest references the city's three ancient harbour fortifications, Tour Maudit (the Cursed Tower), Tour du Roi (the King's Tower), and Tour des Moustiques (Tower of Mosquitoes).

Océanic have won the Kelssek league title nine times. In 186 FE they became the second club to complete a league and cup double. Their best performance in international competition came when they reached the IFCF Champions League semifinals in 187FE, although many would rather forget the pasting they suffered in a 7-1 aggregate loss to Cazadores Cathair. This period marked the high point of the eleven-year tenure of Valladar manager Danny Flint. However, the club saw less success in the later years and following a terrible start to the KFL 75 season that saw the club as low as 15th place in the first 14 matches, Flint was replaced with Brigitte Coppinger who was then manager of Passerine.

The following two years saw a wrenching rebuilding process that led to some scattered calls for her sacking when the team finished the 196-97 season twelfth in the league. Transfer spending was also limited due to financial commitments to expanding the club's stadium. Patience paid off as Coppinger delivered the club's ninth Kelssek Championship title in her third season at the helm, helped by new signing Aurora Nilsen who was the league's top scorer.

Fan culture

Océanic's most popular fan media outlets are YourTube channels Coach-marde and Aux larmes salés. The fans' trademark chant is Océanic, Océanic, allez allez allez, as well as the chant that gets the whole stand bumping, "Qui ne saute pas n'est pas Langloisien!". Another song regularly sung for their star player and captain in the mid-60s to early 70s seasons, to the tune of "Magic in the Air", goes: See the satyr in the air / Allez allez allez / Weiram marque encore / Allez allez allez

Océanic's main rivalry is the Salt Coast derby (Derby du sel) against CF Saint-Richard, which is seen as a contest between the rich and cosmopolitan Langloisiens against the humble, industrious Saint-Richardins. It also has a rivalry with CF Outineau, the next-oldest and most successful Beaulac club, known as the Battaile du Beaulac which reflects the historic contention between the two cities for political and economic power within the region. However, this is a less hostile and even friendly rivalry for both clubs.
