The Ledono-Freienen languages are the Ledonic (Old Heldervinian, Old Ledonian, Classical Berushian, Ecahooran and their descendants) and Freienen (North Freienen, South Freienen, and their descendants) varieties of the North Alchic languages.
The grouping is generally seen as having once been one, consolidated language, giving the language family a proto-language, namely Proto-Ledono-Freienen.
