Legio Loewenburg
Legio Loewenburg is a very large traditional club from the east of the capital Loewenburg and one of currently four professional clubs from the city, alongside the King's Team, SC Loewenburg and Olympia Loewenburg. With over 100,000+ members, it is the largest club in the city alongside the King's Team, and among the top 10 in the entire kingdom. The home stadium is the so-called Colosseum, also known as the Ostkampfarena. It offers space for 40,000 spectators and is particularly well known for the 20,000 standing places in the east curve. The fans of Legio Loewenburg operate under an ultra and fan scene collective called Die Legion (The Legion). They are particularly known for their passion for their team, as well as their rivalries and often excessive parties and fan meetings. The club's largest scene groups are Die Legion, Inferno Legionäre, Brutal Boyz and other small ultra and hooligan groups. Due to their great fan dominance at matches, they have no particular friendships, but all the more enmities and rivalries with other competing clubs. The club was first founded in 1843 by a population group for sports. In 1911, the first soccer section was formed, which is still the most important section of the entire club today. There are no outstanding sponsors or investors, but the club is run by the population according to state regulations. Due to the rampant violence and the frequent use of pyrotechnics and other choreography at matches, the club is also partly at war with the LFA and the state police. However, this is not on a serious scale, as the state knows how to deal with the population. Choreographies and pyrotechnics are sometimes even permitted by the clubs and the state.
The club's logo is in the club colours black and red and features various details. In the middle of the logo is an old imperial eagle of the Northern Confederation, surrounded by a victor's wreath. This already indicated the loyalty of the citizens to the monarchist system at the time. The words Legio Loewenburg and 1843 or 1836 as the date of foundation of the association can be found in old Löwenitch calligraphy.
