Get to know Leslieboo
Leslieboo is a country of many wonders. We have waters the color of diamonds and large hills so it is the best of both worlds. Our etymology is English so we can make it easy for most of the people in the world. We accept immigrants legally but will not tolerate illegal actions. The location of our country is off the coast of Italy which makes our country very pristine and gorgeous. This also could imply the diversity between our people. We accept many different kinds of people into this nation.
Leslieboo's governmental form is a republic. This means that our taxes are good enough to support our country and keep the citizens stable. We believe that with our form of government that we can keep our citizen's rights safe. The geography of Leslieboo is beachy with small mountains. This makes it great for those who love hiking and for those who love the beach life. The waters are crystal clear making it a sailors dream. The views one can see from the hills are immaculate.
Our Military
Leslieboo's military is allies and trade partners with Leslieland's military making our countries very strong. Leslieland's President, Ellie Press, is a very powerfull leader making our countries very powerfull. Our military rivals are Alexander Lawrence of DVRUSSR, and Reid Esposito of The Dictatorship of Chad Nation. This rivalry started ever since they found out that we named ourselves the Leslians. These wars have been nonstop however we have been able to bounce back from our losses. We also have many other allies such as both of the Shrek nations, The Nation of Frankenstein, and many more. Together, we make a very strong force and will make our countries safe.
Ancient History
The history of this wonderful nation is very unique. It all started when a girl named Leslie was trying to see if the earth is flat when she stumbled upon a small island. She decided to explore this island and claim it as her own land. She ventured back to her homeland, Leslieland, to tell loved ones what she had found. They heard and decided to move there and a lot of people followed. They created a language that is still spoken today by nearly half of the people in our nation. Because of them, the country is how it is today.
Medieval Times
Next, the medieval times of Leslieboo. Leslieboo was in fact a monarchy and the queen was Leslie herself. I think that it is pretty self explanitory why she was chosen but it is because she found the country. The important resources that the colonizers sought was sea life. They used fish as a food source as well as some of the unique animals of this place. This would make it a vital part of the nation. Leslie colonized this land sigle-handidly and made the path for our country.
The Currency
The currency of Leslieboo has been changing throughout the years. It started off as Euros because we do live off the coast of Italy. Then, not long after, it was Boobucks named after the last part of the country name. This name stayed for a while until the citizens wanted a change. We changed it to BellaBucks named after the president of Leslieboo. This seems like it is a very narcissistic thing to do but the currency only mentioned Bella in the name. The only person on all the marks was our hero, Leslie.
