Liberação, revolução e salvação (Lusitan pronunciation: [libeɾaˈsɐ̃w̃ ʁe.ˌvo.lu.ˈsɐ̃w̃ saɫ.vɐ.ˈsɐ̃w̃], Lusitan for "Liberation, revolution and salvation") is the national motto of the Republic of Maracao, as well as one of the world's only tripatite mottos. The phrase is generally associated to Maracan revolutionary Renato Guimarães, who regularly used the phrase during the Liberação. It was widely popularised throughout Maracao and the socialist world and adopted as the country's official motto in 1933.
