The Defence Awareness Status (DAS) is the alert readiness system used by the Royal Gristo-Serkonan Armed Forces. DAS has five levels, with level 5 being the lowest state of readiness and level 1 being the highest.

A two variants of the DAS is used by the National Office of Health and the GSIC to determine the biological warfare readiness and domestic security status.

Readiness Condition Description and Readiness
DAS Level 1 State of Total War, with a likelihood of an unconventional strike or has already begun
DAS Level 2 All Elements of RGSAF is mobilized, Armed forces ready to deploy and engage in less than six hours
DAS Level 3 Air Force ready to mobilize in 15 minutes
DAS Level 4 Increased intelligence watch and above normal readiness
DAS Level 5 Military at Ease, Normal Readiness
Public Health Awareness Status
Condition Description and Readiness
SEVERE Severe biological outbreak
HIGH Nation-wide biological outbreak, quarantine zones are established with mandatory tracing and testing
ELEVATED Targeted lockdown of outbreak areas, military is to provide support to emergency services
ABOVE NORMAL National Office of Health deploys disease control specialists to affected areas, digital contact tracing is enabled
LOW No public health outbreaks reported
Domestic Security Awareness Status
Condition Description Response
SEVERE An attack is highly likely in the near future. Exceptional: Maximum protective security. Critical measures to meet specific threats and to minimise vulnerability and risk
HIGH An attack is highly likely. Heightened: Additional and sustainable substantial and severe protective security measures reflecting the broad nature of the threat combined with specific business and geographical vulnerabilities and judgements on acceptable risk.
ELEVATED An attack is likely.
ABOVE NORMAL An attack is possible, but not likely. Normal: Routine protective security. Low and moderate measures appropriate to the business concerned.
LOW An attack is highly unlikely.
