The Premier of Puramape is the Head of Government of the Republic of Puramape. It is the most prominent executive position in the political structure of the country and the officeholder is who usually leads the political life of the country, even though the position of President also exists as a ceremonial Head of State. Since the establishment of the Republic, the country has had 11 officeholders; the longest serving Premier remains the General Jean-Pascal Chagnon, who inaugurated the position in 1953.

The Radical Civic Union has been the longest serving party, holding a dominant position in Puramapese politics during most of the 20th century. The Party of National Integration provided 3 Premiers, including Edouard Lecoubarry, the current serving Premier. In 2006, Gérard Rigal, from the Front for People's Participation, became the first Premier to come from neither of the main traditional political parties.
