Louis Marie Stéphan Quévillon (1831 - 1914) was a Chenique-Alnobak creole transportation administrator and the chairman of the Amiens Department Railroad, the first railroad that existed in Chenes. He is widely considered to have been the father of all rail transportation with Chenes. He later founded the Pais-de-Vignobles Railroad that would service cities that were within territory considered part of the Alnobak Nation. He served as the first chairman of the Chenique National Railroad Society from 1901-1913.
Louis was born in the village of Wôlinak, and his family would later migrate to Ville de Amiens due to economic restraints on the family. He started his career in steel works as a logistics administrator where he got his first view at the lackluster infrastructure Chenes had developed since the occupation by Asherion.
In 1857, Louis founded the Amiens Department Railroad, which primarily served for freigh transportation between Ville de Amiens and Sainte Josephine, the central town for a group of mining operations. Eventually the Amiens Department Railroad would continue to expand under Louis's vision. Eventually he began to integrate passanger transportation in 1865 under the Pais-de-Vignobles Railroad Society.
Under Louis's direction, railroad infrastructure improved vastly and allowed transport within less than a day and set the stage for future railroad development. Louis was also one of the signing members of the Norumbrian Railroad Treaty and would commission the beginning of the Great East Norumbrian Railroad that extended to Moxaney and Gristol-Serkenos. He later merged his two compants, Amiens and Pais-de-Vignobles into the Chenique National Railroad Society afterwards. Louis retired in 1913 and spent the rest of his life in Ville de Augusta until his death in 1914.
Early Life
Louis Quevillon was born on May 6, 1831 in Wôlinak, Pais-de-Vignobles. He was the only son of the Chenique Jacques Quévillon and the Alnobak Orono Quévillon. As a child Louis was studious and had a huge interest in beetles. When Louis was 5, Jacques and Orono moved to Ville de Amiens for Jacques to take a job in steelwork. Louis would often accompany Jacques when he went to work as a steelworker despite the danger.
Louis attended college at Penobscot University, where he completed a degree in Chenique Law. He remarked in his later life that his time would have been better spent looking for beetle dung over acquiring his degree. When he left college, he returned to Ville de Amiens and worked for the Amiens Coastal Steelworks as a logistics administrator in transporting raw materials from Sainte Josephine, a hub of mining villages.
