Early life
Luqman Effendi was born in August the 3rd 1973, the son of Süleyman Effendi (an Army Doctor) and the grandson of Khalid Suleiman Ali Effendi I. Famous Army officer Mehmet Khalid Suleiman Ali Effendi was his uncle.
Education
In 1987, Luqman Effendi received a full science scholarship to the Sharifistani School of Fencing. After graduating with four Advanced Levels (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics) at the age of 16 in 1989. He then attended Madinat Al-Islam University to study Medicine, graduating in 1996 at the age of 23.
Medical career
In 1996, Luqman Effendi became a Medical Officer in Royal Sharifistani Army. He was respected by many of the soldiers and their families who he treated for various illnesses and injuries. In 1997, he accepted a research post at the Madinat Al-Islam Medical School. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he joined the Sharifistani Health Service finding a COVID-19 vaccine.
