Lykkemansland is a Region of Greater Normark that lies in the centre of the country. The capital is Faarborg, but the largest city is Petershavn with a population 117,000. Other cities of note in the region are Bruksby and Hakkonstad. Lykkemansland gets it name from being a region where the folk known as the Lykkemen lived in between the 12th and 15th century. The region was absorbed by the Kingdom of Nor in 1478 but remnants of the Lykkemen still exists in the form of an old norwegian dialect spoken by around 5000 lykkemen living in the area around Faarborg and the traditional dresses that's sometimes worn on special occasions.
