M2105 Self-Propelled Rocket Artillery
The M2105 Multiple Launch Rocket System is another Self-Propelled Artillery variant of the M2100 chassis. It is most effective when combined with other artillery and intelligence assets on the battlefield, including the M2107 Mobile Radar Vehicle. It has a launch pod that is capable of being loaded with various configurations, including UAV deployment.
Description
The M2105 MLRS launch pod housing system allows launch tubes of many shapes and sizes to be mounted on the vehicle, for multiple battlefield scenarios and response capabilities. Payloads vary from standard surface-to-surface M26 and M28 MLRS rockets[1], Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS)[2], to armed UCAVs. It is an extremely effective "shoot and scoot" platform when appropriately joined together with other intelligence, radar, and command platforms.
