The Military Advisor (Modern Heldervinian: Miltettewicker), also known as Mr. Military informally, is the head and highest ranking officer of the Heldervinian Department of the Military and a high-ranking official in the House of Dukes. The military advisor is appointed by the Prime Minister on the advice of the votes of the people. The position is the equivalent of the defence minister in most countries.

To ensure that only those who have experience in the military can serve as military advisor, Heldervinian law provides that the military advisor must have served in the military as an officer in the past five years.

The post of military advisor was created on 13 July 1863. In 1976, Teresia Sorg became Heldervin's first female military advisor. The current military advisor is Lanzo Stromann VIII, who was appointed in 2051 by Prime Minister Giordano Lombardi.
