The monarch of North Bardonia is the constitutional hereditary head of state and national sovereign of the Kingdom of North Bardonia and her sovereign dependencies. The current King is Erich Leftenson, first of his name, who ascended the throne officially on September 19th, 2019 upon the stabilisation of North Bardonia after the April 11th Coup.
With the ascension of Erich and his wedding taken place soon North Bardonian succession is based primogeniture although the King may designate an heir. Although any individual above 80 years is barred from succession under the 2024 Royal Succession Amendment,
