Monika Anett Prohászka (Ruvelkan: Ṳīṵiűi Iṵìṹṹ Ũṷīüíůủűi; IPA: /monikɒ ɒnɛtt prohaːskɒ/; born 8 August 1991) is the current Royal Princess of Ruvelka and current head of the Prohászka Dynasty.

The youngest woman to be elected Royal Princess, Monika was born in Székesfehérvár where she was also raised. Her mother, Anett Prohászka, often traveled to and from their family’s traditional home in Debrecen and their more permanent residence in Székesfehérvár. Like all other Ruvelkan children, Monika was publicly educated and took a particular interest in art. She joined the Imperial Fusiliers at age eighteen during the height of the Zemplen War. Serving extensively behind enemy lines as an infiltrator and pathfinder for her unit, Monika received a Silver Dendrite for her service.

Monika has become a popular figure among the people of the Grand Principality, as a result of her pro-Ruvelkan political views, decorated military service, and amicable personality.

Early Life

Monika was born the only child to Anett Prohászka and Adrián Vass on 26 August 1991 in Székesfehérvár. Born into the primary branch of the venerable Prohászka Dynasty—who have been rulers in Ruvelka for over 700 years—Monika would become an eligible choice for Ruvelka’s elective monarchy when she turned eighteen.

Monika’s parents, Anett and Adrián, married not long after her birth. Anett’s military obligations to the Imperial Army, however, put significant strain on her relationship with Adrián and they eventually divorced when Monika was five years old. As a result, Monika was raised by Adrián in her youth in Székesfehérvár with Anett making as many visits to her as she could.

Education

When Monika came of age, she began school in Székesfehérvár’s primary schools. She attended Vilmos Primary school, graduating in 2006. Afterward, she attended Debrecen Military Preparatory Academy where she spent time with her mother. During her time at DMPA, Monika worked on her survival training and distinguished herself in pathfinder training and covert reconnaissance operations; she also spent significant time studying the Imerti Conflict.

Military Service

In 2008, the Zemplen War began in earnest. Monika completed her final year at DMPA in spring 2009 and joined the Imperial Fusiliers with the rank of Military-Major. Due to her skills in wilderness survival and reconnaissance, Monika began her service with the 11th Imperial Scout Regiment.
