early life
Born in Khan County, the son of landowner Ahmed Khalid Khan (who was Effendi of a village),He grew up on a large dairy farm and attended a private school in Khan County. His uncle was the Superintendent of Khan County Police Fraud Squad, inspiring him to want to become a police officer.
Afghan mujahideen
In 1979, at the age of 18 he joined the National Islamic Front of Afghanistan, leaving 3 years later in 1982. For his actions he received the Distinguished Gallantry Medal.
education
He studied Criminology at Pashtunistan City University leaving with a Bachelor Of Science Course in 1987. He joined the police as a cadet the same year.
retirement
He retired on 2020 citing a desire for a rest after many long, intense years of police work.
