Murder of Ilo Bulawayo
On April 18, 2015, members of the Im-Folozi - a unit of the Blackhelm Confederate Tribal Militia - found the body of 23-year-old Ilo Bulawayo in a ditch on the side of a dirt road near the town of Umtanzi.
Bulawayo, a member of the Im-Folozi, was found with numerous large gashes across his body. A subsequent investigation linked him to the Children of the Tambeki, a cult that was known to operate in the jungle near Umtanzi. On June 12th 2015, four members of the group were brought into custody for the crime, but were ultimately found not guilty during a trial. As a result of the murder, tensions ran extremely high between local tribal militias and the Children of the Tambeki, necessitating the intervention of a nearby Blackhelm Confederate Army garrison. Due to the tensions, the members of the cult group eventually abandoned their settlement near Umtanzi.
