history

Created in 1958 by a merger of the National and Unionist Parties, it has since then dominated Munkcestrian politics. It has been led by George Fenwick I since 2015 though for a short while it was lead by his son George Fenwick II.

controversy

Many middle-eastern sources describe it as "genocidal and misogynistic", however this is widely seen as inaccurate by experts due to their 2019-2021 alliance with Saranidia.

Foreign police sources believe it serves a hub for police and political corruption (a viewed arguably proved in the trial of George Fenwick who was convicted of war crimes, genocide against Romani travellers and genocide against people from Azadistan and the trial of a Munkcestrian Police Inspector). Some conspiracy theorists suspect it is connected to a paedophile ring in the Munkcestrian government (though this accusation is spurious).
