The National Police Authority of Fratanica serves as the federal government's main policing agency. They are responsible for the protection of federal buildings and vital infrastructure throughout the country, such as airports, railroads, trading ports, and constitutional institutions. In addition to these responsibilities, the National Police Authority also serves as a standby force, in case of civil unrest or emergencies. This agency does not provide local law enforcement services, as the Fratanican Constitution prohibits the federal government from creating a centralized law enforcement agency. Instead, each province has its own police force which conducts law enforcement duties throughout Fratanica's various administrative districts.

All National Police officers are armed with a handgun while on patrol, and some also carry around patrol rifles.
