The National Rugby One or ..., abbreviated as RN1, is the highest tier of professional rugby league in Wallenland and is the highest division in the National Rugby League. Contested by 14 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the National Rugby League. Seasons usually run between May and August, with each team playing 13 matches. The RN1 was founded on 1 May, 1980.

The National Rugby League has lodged itself in Wallenland's rugby scene for its participation with protests and riots, especially by the RN1, concerning social and political issues which have caused the suspension of the league's 2000 season and the 2001 season.
