Nik Vuc, (17 July, 1791 to 14 July, 1837), was a Durnian military officer and engineer. He is famous for leading the CFU forces which formed the Durnian portion of the Pan-Adulan Coalition. He was an avid supporter of indirect-fire artillery and is quoted with saying "To see the gun shoot at you is fear, to not see the gun shoot at you is terror." His push for the adoption and implementation of hand grenades for infantry created Durnstaal's first dedicated grenadier units, the Pracháčov (sin:Pracháč)(lit:Powdermen), during the Barretoan Wars.
