Nistroria is a terrestrial rocky planet located in the Hanoran Sector of the Core of the Talin Galaxy. Orbiting the star Hinnen, it is home to the sentient Nistrorians. Much of the planet has been developed and is covered in urban sprawl, with the production of fuels used in starships being the most important output. Massive pipelines stretch from the planet's extensive oil and gas extraction fields to the spaceports, where they are refined and loaded on transports. As such, Nistroria is a strategic economic center of the Galactic Union and is densely, diversely populated. The wealth of the planet is unevenly dispersed, with rich elites (namely humans and corporate leaders) distinguished from the poorer areas of the planet's cities which are plagued by widespread crime.
