Nosha, officially the Holy State of Nosha, is a nation in central Asia. It is bordered by Turky to the west, Dia to the southwest, Tydo to the southeast, and Yashu to the northeast. It has a coast with Bosten Lake to the north.
Nosha ranks very high in civil liberties, high in HRC-FS human rights, and moderately in political freedom. Few restrictions exist against HRC-FS human rights and little violence occurs in the country. Political expression is nearly completely legal with exceptions for excessive criticism against the government.
Nosha’s economy is weak and mainly trades with Tydo, Yashu, Bo, Dia, and Turky. Nosha is a member of the Himalayan Cooperative aimed at strengthening trade among the Himalayan nations. Agriculture and local handicrafts are the only markets in Nosha. Since Nosha has such a small economy, they have promoted tourism heavily around the world. A spaceport constructed specifically for tourism was built in Amaradesin, which is a popular destination for tourists from the Federation of Sol.
Etymology
The word Nosha is of unknown origin. There are no theories, no legends, no stories, and no supporting documentation. The origin is a complete mystery. Every supposed theory is pure speculation or a fantastical story. The only possible source of this fact is a centuries-long rumor that the reasoning is of highly religious reason. Therefore, it is only known to the Grand Sanyasi, who passes it down through reincarnation, or simply telling his successor on his death bed.
