The November 1 Incident (Insurrezione del 1 Novembre) was an attempted coup d'état in the Italian Social Republic on 1 November 1991. It was organized by a group of former senior state officials recently ousted from power against new Duce of Italy Italo Debalti.

Although the rebels succeeded in assassinating several senior leaders and in briefly occupying the government centre of Rome, they failed to behead the newly installed government and secure control of Italo Debalti himself.

The coup attempt had severe consequences. After a series of show trials, 15 of the uprising's leaders were sentenced to death for mutiny and sedition and another 40 faced harsh sentences. The pro-western clique completely lost its influence within Italy and Italo Debalti further cemented his grip on power.
