Numyke is a terrestrial planet located in the Core of the Talin Galaxy. From space, Numyke appears as a blue-green orb enveloped in a white web of clouds. Its surface has vast bodies of water and is covered in snow-capped mountains, with patches of green grassy hills. Numyke is regarded for its natural beauty, its tranquility, and the sophistication of its arts and culture. Its native sentient species and dominant culture, the Iczus, are deeply familial but independent from other species, and as such the planet's population is not highly diverse in species range when compared to other major planets in the Galactic Union.
The cities on Numyke were carefully designed to respect the natural beauty of their environment. For example, the palace of the royal family and the surrounding capital city of Humy blend into the local snow-capped peaks and nearby lakes.
