Early Life and Education
Born in a family of teacher in Tachamparo, Caconziche Suryuu, his father was arrested three months before his birth by the Malnonfi Junta because of his links with the Freedom and Faith Club. Obraq would only meet his father in 1976, after the return of the Clan Sesquechua to Zacapatu and the liberation of all political prisoners of the Junta. He was 9 years old.
In 1985, he joined the University of Zacapatu where he followed a program in international relations. His school records, made public after his candidature at the position of Yrateq, show an efficient and competent student, whom managed to win the patronage of some of his teachers. It's with their recommendatations letters that he will, once he finished his program in 1993, obtain a post as Assistant Attaché for the Karazawi embassy in Oelia.
Career
Obraq Sokkan will serve for four years in the Karazawi embassy in Oelia. First as Assistant Attaché, then as third secretary. He'll finally return in Karazawa in 1998, where he'll become HR Director for a fillial of Uikichukekua Incorporated. At the same time he joined the Chukurhicha Kexi, nicknamed "moderate republican" party. He was Campaign Manager for the Buyi Elections of 1999. His dedicated work wins him the praises of the party, and after the general elections of 2001, become the unofficial boss for the Party of the Tzun Lowlands Buyi. He was responsible for the selection, training, and support of the Uikichukekua candidates for the Mayor Elections of 2002.
He'll resign from his job as HR Director in 2003 to dedicate himself entirely to his political career. He slowly rose to become a proeminent figure of the Uikichukekua Kexi, but his lack of mandate stoped him from obtaining a position in the Party's direction. He'll have to wait until the Buyi elections of 2009 to finaly become Deputy of the Tzun Lowlands, and the 2010 Annual Congress to be elected Treasurer of the Party.
After the poor results of the Chukurhicha Kexi at the general elections of 2011, the precedent President of the "Leafers" resigned. At the Annual Congress of the same year, it was Obraq Sokkan who was selected and elected to replace him. The majority of his mandate action was to mitigate the effects of his party's loss of proeminence in the Assembly, and to prepare for the General Elections of 2016.
In 2016, the Uikichukekua Kexi managed to become the dominant partner in a coalition between them and the Caconziche Angashurhini (Moderate royalists). It was then agreed, by both parties, that Obraq Sokkan would be the new Yrateq, and would select a Cabinet from both parties.
