  • Occupation of Birgande is an ongoing military operation in the southern city of Birgande in Ganji Islands. Kjaw Liberation Army occupied the city during the early hours of morning with the help of Goarpaz Mercenary Forces. The event is a major part of the Kjawian crisis.

    The KLA is an Army from the state of Kjaw, that wants to get revenge on Ganji Islands for the Minszes Genocide and get independence. Their estimated member count is 3 000-10 000 members.

    KLA headquarters raid

    The State Government of Kjaw issued a raid to the KLA headquarters in Western Kjaw, which turned out to be empty. The only things found were ammunition and AK-47s built during the Ganjiland War.

    Attack on Dogo, Prawasia

    The KLA attacked the town of Dogo in Prawasia on May 22 during the evening. There were 5 deaths which all of were the Dogo police. 12 civilians were injured and 3 were kidnapped.

    Amirtown bombings

    On May 25 at 22:54, the KLA bombed the South Amirtown train station. 2 police officers died and 14 other civilians were injured.

    New Nation of Kjaw

    On May 27 at 15:00 the President of Kjaw, Yohan Heszabere proclaimed Kjaw as the New Nation of Kjaw.

    Government representatives

    On May 27 at 2:38, three states announced their representatives' withdrawal from the Government due to Kjaw's and Goarpaz' representatives being kicked out, which meant that these states weren't recognized anymore. Those states were Kwiri, Jahbi and Saint Damién, which all have a large percentage of Minszesi population.

    First week

    First day

    During the first 3 hours, KLA took over the Birgande City Hall and the Prawasian Embassy building in Northern Birgande.

    At 15:58, two Ganji Islands Special Forces soldiers died, 9 were wounded and 3 civilians were wounded in a grenade explosion while evacuating an apartment building.

    The rest of the day went without casualties.

    Second and third day

    The day began with an explosion in the district of Maroon. There were no casualties but 2 bypassers were injured. That caused the Ganji Islands Military Police to attack the base district of KLA. Four people died and 21 other were injured. The third day was calm.

    Fourth day

    At 01:44, the KLA attacked the base camp of GSF with rocket launchers in which 11 soldiers died and 32 other were injured.

    Second week

    Second day

    At about 18:23, a passenger jet crashed in Northern Birgande with everyone onboard dying. The KLA had shot down the plane. A total of 58 people died in that accident, including 49 passengers, 4 crew members, 2 GSF soldiers and 3 ASAF soldiers.
