Operation Dai-Yosai was a successful assassination plot that targeted one of the last remaining members of royal Hytek House of Melderis, Erik von Melderis, grandson of Johannes II. The sole agent and assassin, Hytek spy Anita Vetra, was sent to Königsreh as a waitress and barmaid under the pseudonym of Emily Kohlberg, working at the prestigious FACETTE restaurant on Bellantinstraße in the Mascyllary capital. von Melderis was scheduled to meet a Hytek ambassador to discuss the re-entry of the Melderis house into Hytekojuznia, providing they relinquished their titles and claims - however this meeting was also staged as part of the operation. As per reports, Vetra waited until von Melderis got up to use the restroom, at which point she redirected her to an isolated exit, saying that the ambassador was waiting. At the exit, at 8:17pm, he was shot and killed, with his body being dumped in a nearby back-alley, and not being discovered until the next morning, by which Vetra was safely back in Hytekojuznia.
