Oscar III (Oscar Ohlson Icadias; 5 November 1902 - 15 February 1967) was the first and only President of Sweden from 1933 until 1945, and later King of Icadias from 1945 onwards until 1967. Known for his military and administrative capabilities, he was the first ruler of a renamed Sweden and was credited with various achievements during the modernisation of the country throughout the first half of the 20th century.
