Palewanistan (Kurdish:Pehlewanistan) is one of the four communities of the Republic of Kurdistan—alongside Soranijan, Kurmanjistan and the contested Rojava region and the Amed Capital Region. . It occupies the northern part of Kurdistan and covers an area of.. Kurmanjistan consist of 19 districts. Its capital is the city of Dêrsim.
