The Party for Progress and Equality (Abbreviated as PPE) is a social democratic and progressive political party and organization operating within the Copperhead Republic. Originally founded in 1941, the PPE is an outgrowth of the youth progressive movement that appeared in the late 1930s within Copperhead, especially around the capital Harrisonville. Founded on campus at the National University of Copperhead, the PPE has traditionally comprised college-educated individuals and other more urban oriented population groups in contrast to the other major parties in the Copperhead Republic which are primarily rural based.

As of December 2020, the PPE is the fifth largest party in the Copperhead Republic with a total membership of [Insert] registered members. The PPE is the junior coalition partner in the New Left Coalition, winning control of the government in support of the ASP in the 2020 Copperhead elections. The PPE operates a student wing known as Momentum and a youth wing known as The Next Generation. The PPE's women movement is known as Her Struggle.

As a social democratic and to a lesser extent democratic socialist party, the PPE advocates for a gradual shift towards collective ownership of the means of production. Unlike their coalition partners in the ASP, the PPE does not advocate for a traditionalist or agrarian view of the family or lifestyles in general, instead promoting a progressive vision for the people of Copperhead. Comparatively the PPE also tends to focus on issues more pertinent to middle-class and suburban voters, especially college educated persons. The PPE is notable for being the first major party in Copperhead to support the legalization of same-sex marriage, a subject that is often considered taboo within the nation.
