Paugessett ([pɑːˈʒɛːsɛt]), officially the Republic of Paugessett (Gallonais: République de Paugessett [ʁepyblik də pɑːˈʒɛːsɛt]), is a sovereign state in northwestern Occidenta. It is bordered by xxxx and the Gulf of Eide to the west, xxxx in the south, and the Aecorean Ocean to the east. Its capital and largest city is Clebrecque, situated along St. James Bay.
Humans first settled in the region roughly 6,000 years ago with the Onyx Culture Complex and Cooper Wear Culture being the first documented societies to inhabite Paugessett. Later Pownak people's would arrive and establish a dominant cultural presince in the region.
