The Peasants' Revolt, also named the Kieran ó Dubhghaill's Rebellion and more commonly known as the Great Rising. Was a major uprising across large parts of Blekinge in 1443. The revolt had various causes, including the socio-economic and political tensions generated by the Heratic Plague pandemic in the 1410s,
