Elections

Elections for People's Assembly occur on average every four years, there is no set term and it is up to the Prime Minister to request the Monarch to call for elections, however the Monarch can also independently call for elections if they believe that the Prime Minister is trying to stay in office longer than they should. All Citizens of the age twenty to the age of eighty-five, who are not currently serving a prison sentence, are required to vote and fill out the list for at least five Members of Parliament. Those who are over the age of eighty-five, are in hospital, pregnant, or out of the nation are not required to vote but may choose to vote, however if they do vote then they must also fill out the list for at least five Members of Parliament.

All MPs are elected by Single Transferable Vote in 25, 5 member districts. Each district is one of the 25 administrative divisions of Polata City, this was done to eliminate the possibility of gerrymandering.
