Politics of Noordenstaat takes place in a framework of a unitary, parliamentary, constitutional monarchy. The political system is outlined in the 1921 Constitution of Noordenstaat which reformed the Kingdom after the dissolution of Noordenstaat-Scanonia. The fundamental principles of the Noordenstaater politics are protection of human dignity and freedoms, rule of law, separation of powers and democratic values.
