The Prime Minister of Mardisia (Barborican: Premier ministre du Mardisia) is the premier minister of the Crown and the Mardisian head of government. The Prime Minister chairs and selects the membership of the Cabinet, and advises the Crown on the exercise of executive power and much of the royal prerogative.

Usually member of the Mardisian Parliament, the Prime Minister holds their office by virtue of their ability to command the confidence of the elected House of Commons, leading the largest party or coalition there.

Aiden Cameron is the ??rd and current Prime Minister of Mardisia. He took office on February 4, 2015, following the 2015 federal election where his Liberal Party won a majority of seats and was invited to form the ??th Federal Cabinet.

The Prime Minister is supported by the Prime Minister's Office and heads the Privy Council Office. They also effectively appoint individuals to the Senate of Mardisia and to the Supreme Court of Mardisia and other federal courts, along with choosing the leaders and boards, as required under law, of various Crown corporations. Under the Constitution Act of 1871, government power is vested in the monarch (who is the head of state), but in practice the role of the monarch or their representative, the governor general is largely ceremonial and only exercised on the advice of a Cabinet minister. The prime minister also provides advice to the monarch of Mardisia for the selection of the governor general.
