Prince William-Frederick (Willam Frederick Henry; 2 January 2060) is the eldest child of Marie, Duchess of Wied and Prince Nicolaas, Duke of Tecklenburg. He is the elder twin brother of Princess Juliet Alexandra and is also the eldest grandchild of King George V of Atmora and Queen Lexi. Prince William was born several months after his mother had lost the throne of the Netherlands. However by the Edict of Gravenhage in 2060, he is still a legitimate heir to the throne of the Netherlands.

Birth

William was born in the Duchy of Wied in the Netherlands, the second child of Prince Nicolaas, Duke of Tecklenburg and Marie, Duchess of Wied, after the Attack on Haarlem and his mother's Dethronement. He is also the eldest grandchild and grandson to George V and Lexi. After his mother gave birth to him, King George V and Queen Alexandra II went to visit their eldest grandchildren Juliet and William in the Duchy of Wied instead of going to the Coronation of Empress Anna-Charlotte. Queen Katherine II and Princesse Icelynn, Marchioness of Macy went to the coronation in place of the King and the Queen Consort.

Custody Affair

In 2061, William's father, Prince Nicolaas fled Wied with Atmoran Special Forces. The Atmorans latter returned and took William with them as well. They took him to Atmora where he was cared for with his younger twin sister by his father and soon to be step-mother, Aurora Morvell. For a year he lived in Atmora as an infant before his mother, the Duchess of Wied begged her husband to return to Wied with the children. Nicolaas refused and William's grandfather, now Duke of Limburg came to Alexandria in Atmora and fought a several month long trial trying to gain custody for his own grandchildren and take them back to Atmora. Eventually the Duke of Limburg was able to gain custody over Prince William, but not Princess Juilet. So the older twin and their grandfather returned to Wied. Soon afterwards, another legal battle was fought, this time between Prince William's parents. They were soon divorced.

Youth

William would spend most of his childhood in the Dutch East Indies with his grandfather following his parents scandalous divorce with his younger brother, Prince Adrian Christophe. While he did live in Amsterdam while his grandfather was prime minister, they moved to the city of Batavia in 2064. Following his family’s fall from favor, William was kept in a very private life along with his brother until late 2068 when Adrian left for Derita to grow up as a member of the court of Fontainebleau.

William in 2068 moved with his father and lived with his sisters Princess Juliet Alexandra and Princess Zoe. They lived at Birkhall Estate in Sierrapolis. He was sent into public schooling along with his sister. While living in Sierrapolis he kept in close contact with his favorite sibling, Adrian. William took a great interest in sports, taking up soccer, rugby, and water polo.

It was believed that William Frederick would succeed his mother to the office of Stadholder of the United Provinces after she conquered much of the Dutch-Empire and formed her own splinter nation, but in 2071 the United Provinces collapsed and Marie fled to Portugal, serving as Queen there. In 2073 Marie divorced King Luís II of Portugal and their family was reunited once again. In 2078 William’s father was appointed Governor of Sedra and William agreed to go with his family to Sedra while his father served as governor.

Education

William Frederick attended Yoshihara-Ikeda Primary School in Saikyo, Mizuho alongside with his brother Adrian from 2064 to 2068 when he moved to Sierrpolis. Here he attended the public school of Alleenstaande Dennen Institute from 2068 to 2074, when he was transferred into Imperial Alexandria Preparatory School alongside his sister. Having become fluent in Japanese in Saikyo, he was taught in mastering Deritain and Norian, excelling in the latter of the two. William Frederick joined the Imperial Alexandria Preparatory School Rugby Team. He competed in the National High School Rugby Championship two times in 2076 and 2077, helping his team reach victory in the championship in 2077.

Soon after graduating from the Imperial Alexandria Preparatory School along with his twin sister, his parents told him that his father Prince Nicolaas was going to be nominated to be the Governor of Sedra, William Frederick agreed to move with his parents to Sedra. William Frederick was hesitant to do so however when he learned that his brother Adrian would not be joining them and would be returning to Fontainebleau. William Frederick suggested staying on Terra with his brother, but was convinced by his mother and brother to go to along to Sedra. In Sedra it is unsure what path William Frederick will take, though he has reported a desire to continue in rugby.
