Professional Baseball of Kipan is the highest level of baseball in the country. Locally, it is called Puro Yakyu and beyond the Kipanese Islands, it is just known as Kipanese baseball. The roots of the organization stem from bat-and-ball games imported by foreign traders during the early days of the Udo Transformation but only meld into the current format during the height of the Thalassian War. Following the conclusion of the war, the PBK was formed, creating two leagues with six teams each: the League and the League. At the end of each season, there a championship playoff series between the top teams from both competing groups.
