Prosperon
- Prosperon, (pronounced /Pro'srv/ in Prosperan), officially the People's Republic of Prosperon, is a country located on the Continent of Asia. It shares a single border with the United Socialist Staes of Ashfend, and the majority of its land is situated on the Island of Prosperon. A relatively new nation, Prosperon gained independence from Ashfend on 1/1/1 A.L. The geography and climate differ greatly, ranging from the frozen tundra in the northern city of Forlorn to the tropical beaches of Port Heathenside. The government of Prosperon is officialy a Communist Democracy, and it has very left leaning policies.
The history and tradition range back long before Ashfendian rule. The earliest artifacts collected are dated at over two thousand years old. The majority of the population follows Meditism, a pacifist religion that espouses the importance of reasoning and compassion. Prosperon is ethnically diverse, due to their relatively lax immigration policies.
Prosperonian culture is based around reasoning and compassion. From a young age children are taught to be accepting of others views and empathetic. In Prosperan society, those who are impulsive or unthoughtful are shunned.
