The Puffin 1 is a Caspiaan fighter and attack aircraft developed out of the need for an all-weather interceptor aircraft. During the latter half of 1974, the Puffin 1 entered service in the Royal Caspiaan Air Force. Somewhere in the region of 726 Puffin 1s of all variants and trainers were manufactured during its run between 1966 and 1992. It is still used in limited capacity by the Caspiaan military and other militaries around the world.
